Is this a personal training program?
No, this is a coaching program. The difference is that we are not with you while you are exercising, however we provide you with the guidance and expertise for you to do the exercises on your own. The accountability comes from meeting with us once a week and participating in the weigh-ins
What if I don’t want to do the weekly coaching?
That’s not a problem; we have two other options to help you survive the holidays. You can opt for just the book which comes with a free consultation, body fat analysis and daily caloric intake analysis. Or you can opt to include 2 training sessions to take you through some of the workouts. The choice is yours.
What do I need to bring to each coaching session?
Bring your program book, a pen and workout attire. We will go over the nutrition information and offer an opportunity for you to ask questions of our nutrition expert. Then we will instruct you on the proper form for the exercises you will be doing for the next week.
What if I miss a session?
That’s ok, You will have your program book which explains what we are going over that week, which will include exercises and nutritional information. What you will miss is the opportunity to participate in the question and answer portion and the demonstration of the actual exercises. We would prefer you not miss, however you will still have all the tools to be successful should you need to miss.
Do I have to do the weigh-ins?
It would be best if you do. It’s difficult to gauge progress without a starting point. You will stay on track knowing where your weight is. We don’t recommend weighing yourself everyday however. Once a week is plenty. The only catch here is that you may be gaining muscle and losing body fat, at the same rate. In that case also go by how your clothes are fitting to judge your progress. Keep in mind you may be gaining muscle and losing body fat at the same rate, so what you see on the scale could be misleading. It is best to judge by the way your clothing fits.
Do I follow a diet?
NO, we don’t believe in diets. Diets fail over the long term. We provide you with a sensible eating plan designed to teach you healthy eating habits, portion control, and making good choices. Each week we will give you more information on nutrition to guide you through a lifetime of healthy eating. This is the only way to make it through the holiday parties.
