I started with “Body 3” back in March 2014 with the idea of getting in shape for a planned retirement in 2015. I had been dieting prior to coming to “Body 3” and had dropped from about 265lbs to 244lbs, but that’s where it stopped! I felt that going to a gym with a trainer might help, since I hadn’t seen the inside of a gym in about 35 years! I met with Cassandra and she explained the entire concept of the “Body 3” strategy to help get me on track to reach my goal, which I set at 200 lbs. I signed up that day and told Cassandra that I wanted to do two sessions a week and also wanted to pay 6 months in advance just to show that I was committed.
I continued showing up every week doing my sessions and even coming in on my own and working out. I started actually liking the challenge of the sessions and working out (must have been getting delusional). I even took the “MyZone Challenge” in August 2014 collecting over 5500 meps and coming in second place!
Well I have to admit that Ruben, Cassandra, and Tom were all correct and also have to thank them for not giving up on pounding the process into my hard head. Upon doing my accountability session with Ruben at the end of May I hit my goal of 200 lbs., of course it was about 26 months from when I started with “Body 3”. I guess anything you want bad enough is worth waiting for! At my accountability session at the end of June, my weight was now at 194 lbs. and I hope to maintain it with the help of my friends at “Body 3”.
