I moved to the neighborhood about a year ago. I have never been a big fan of large, impersonal gyms and I felt like I needed to find a gym to inspire me to get back into shape. In addition to the desire for a smaller, more personal gym experience, I wanted to find a gym that would tailor my workout to minimize the wear and tear on my injuries, in particular my shoulders. I had injured one of my shoulders requiring surgery and substantial rehabilitation so certain exercises were not appropriate. Body3 was a perfect fit for me.
Body3 provides amazing facilities, a family type atmosphere and personalized services that I love. Its’ small class approach allows them to focus on your individual limitations or needs in a fun and challenging environment. In addition to the small group training, cardio classes are fun, energetic and team-oriented. Boot Camps are offered on a regular basis and on Saturdays members can bring friends, family, or anyone they would like to introduce to the facility.
Body3 also invites you to participate in special events like Spartan races, 5Ks and the Kickstart Challenge. I particularly enjoyed the Kickstart Challenge, which is an exercise, and dietary challenge that provides a lot of useful information on nutrition, portion sizes, and how to create delicious and healthy recipes.
I have increased my cardiovascular endurance, run a 5K, and increased muscle mass. My nutrition game has stepped up and every day I step into Body3 I am working toward a healthier, leaner, stronger life. I am so grateful to my Body3 family for helping maximize my workout efforts.
