I remember the first time I attended boot camp given by Andrew back in early Fall of 2016. At that point, I had to do something different to lose weight, and to become healthy again. Yes, I was doing cardio three times a week, but I was still pushing that 240-250 pound range. Even though I was extremely nervous of injuring my already often injured ankle, and I didn’t know anyone other than Josh and Andrew, I was hooked. I was pushed in a way that I enjoyed it, and felt it! I loved the fact that I was totally drenched after each boot camp! It gave me a sense of accomplishment. I started to enjoy boot camp each time that I went more and more. I noticed that everyone in class were just wonderful people trying to get or maintain a healthy lifestyle. I quickly bonded with these wonderful people as a family!
The next step was obvious for me! Since I was getting really comfortable with Andrew, and we grew as friends, I needed to challenge myself even more. I saw results from the Fall of 2016 to the start of 2017. I decided to start personal training with Andrew in January 2017. It has been the best thing I have done in regards to my health in a long time. I went from a dangerous high weight of 251 during the Fall of 2015 to a manageable 228 at the start of 2017. I wanted to get to my new goal of 215 by the summer of 2017. With the help of Andrew and Josh, and all of my now “friends for life” in boot camp, I reached my goal of 215. The really important next step was to maintain it. With the help of personal training and boot camp thru out 2017, I didn’t gain the “usual” 25 pounds I usually gain during the holidays.
I am truly grateful for what Andrew, Josh and now the Body 3 Fitness family has done with my life in regards to my health. I can honestly say that I have tons of fun working out these days! The combination of great people trying to reach a common goal, is simply incredible. So, I thank you Andrew and Josh!
