Growing up, I had always been active by playing sports so weight gain was never an issue. When career started, all sports activities stopped. Work is busy, stressful, and there are schedule adjustments. I found myself with less energy which resulted in a lack of interest in any type of physical activities. My lunch routines were more of a fast food type and take out or delivery food were an easier option for dinner. There is more. “Are We Ready For Some Football.” Yes, the football season. You can’t watch football without beer and appetizers, right? It was a great combo at that time. These went on for years.
Weight gain starting creeping in, energy level was still an issue, BP started to spike up and not enough sleep. I joined a gym several times, got bored and the end results were all the same, zero progress. I also tried dieting. I lost a little weight but that didn’t last long and ended in gaining more than when I started. Gaining weight was easier than losing it, when you pass your 40’s.
Then I was introduced to Body3 Personal Fitness. This place is outstanding. The staff and trainers are remarkable. The encouragements and support I received were beyond what I had expected. The small group sessions, cardio classes 4x/wk and boot camps made me achieved my monthly goals. My BP is back to normal. I feel rested, when I wake up in the morning and definitely has more energy. My ultimate achievement, however, was losing 11.5% (24 lbs) of body weight in 28days, during “Biggest Loser” of Balance Habits or Kick Start Program. I also won the challenge…YAAAYYYY ME!!!! It was insane losing the weight for a short period of time. I would definitely recommend this challenge/program. The keys were DEDICATION + COMMITMENT = EXCELLENT RESULTS!!!
All in all, I want to express my appreciation to the staff of Body3 Personal Fitness, members (clients) and my work out partners (you know who you are). Special thanks to Mike Warren the weekly small group sessions and Andrew Hayes the weekly Cardio Classes and weekend Boot Camps. Together they made it possible for me to reach my goals each month and able to achieve a healthier and fit lifestyle. I’m still a “work in progress” and I am sure looking forward to getting better each time.
